Service agreement

90-Day Credit & Financial Literacy Program

This agreement is between you and Counsell Financial Ltd. ("Counsell Financial", "we"), Ontario, Canada. You accept it when you tick the agreement box in your client portal before paying.

1. What you receive

• A 90-day credit and financial education program, starting on the date we set with you after your review session.
• A guided review of your Equifax and TransUnion credit reports, and a plain-language explanation of what is affecting them.
• Help organizing your accounts, balances and due dates, and setting monthly goals and an action plan.
• Education on utilization, payment history, budgeting and how to dispute inaccurate information with the credit bureaus yourself.
• Access to your client portal and its tools during the program.

2. What we do not do

We provide credit and financial education and administrative support. We are not a credit bureau, lender, law firm, licensed insolvency trustee, collection agency or debt-settlement provider. We do not:

• provide legal advice;
• negotiate, settle or pay debts on your behalf;
• contact creditors, collection agencies or credit bureaus for you;
• file disputes for you (we show you how to file your own, which is free).

3. No guaranteed results

We do not promise or guarantee any increase in your credit score, approval for credit, or the removal of any information from your credit report. Accurate information cannot be removed early by anyone. Your results depend on your own reports and the choices you make.

4. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information and upload your own credit reports.
• Stay in control of your accounts. Never share online banking passwords with us.
• Make your own decisions. Our role is to educate and support you.

5. Fee and payment

The program fee is shown in your portal before you pay, in Canadian dollars. You can pay in full by card or Interac e-Transfer, or by card in monthly payments where offered. Monthly payments are charged automatically to your card each month until the last payment, then stop. The fee pays for the education and support described above. It is not tied to any change in your credit.

6. Cancellation and refunds

• Within 10 days of paying: cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.
• After 10 days: you can cancel at any time. If you paid in full, we refund the unused portion of the 90 days, calculated by day. If you are on monthly payments, no further payments are charged.
• To cancel, email counsellfinancial@gmail.com. Refunds are returned to your original payment method within 15 days.

These terms do not limit any rights you have under Ontario's consumer protection law.

7. Privacy

We handle your information as described in our privacy policy. We never sell your information. Uploaded documents are deleted within 90 days after your program ends.

8. General
